The Rock's Biography
The Rock is the Peoples Champion! The Rock is the Great One! But before The Rock was The Peoples Champion he was known as Dwayne Johnson. Dwayne was born on May 2nd 1972 in Hayward, California. He was always very involved in wrestling. He grew up with wrestling. His father Rocky Johnson was a wrestler and his mother Ata Johnson's father Peter Miavia was also a wrestler. His earliest memories of wrestling were going to shows with his mom and watching his dad lay the smackdown in the ring. Dwayne moved around a lot, by the time he was 5 and started kindergarten he had already lived in 5 states!
The Rock didn't always want to be a wrestler, he truly wanted to be a professional football player in the NFL, he almost did! The only thing that stopped him from becoming a football player were countless injuries to his back while playing in the university of Miami.
After high school and many scholarship offers to different universities, The Rock chose to go to The University Of Miami. That is where he met his wife Dany Garcia. The got married on May 3rd 1997 one day after the Great one's birthday. The Rock then continued to play through the crucial pain. After university he was sent to the CFL to play for the Calgary Stampeders. He was later released from the team. This is when The Rock realized his life long dream to follow in his father's and grandfather's footsteps and become a wrestler!
Now about 9 years later The Rock is and considered the most popular thing in the history of the WWF and sports entertainment! He wrote a book about his life titled "The Rock Says..." It went number one on The New York Times Bestseller list within a week! It was soldout everywhere! The book has a total of 283 pages in it. On August 14th 2001, The Rock became a father. Him and his wife Dany had their first child! They had a baby girl, her name is Simone Alexandra Johnson!
Now The Rock is the biggest thing ever in wrestling! Wherever he goes in the world fans are always screaming "Rocky...Rocky...Rocky..."He now lives in Miami Florida with his wife. He spends about 225 days a year on the road! Recently The Rock has become a movie star! He has been on many television shows (Dag, Star Trek, That 70s Show), as well as countless talk shows (David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, The View, Regis, Tonight Show, and the list goes on!) He has been in "The Mummy Returns" and "The Scorpion King", he plays a character named 'The Scorpion King' in both of the films! He described the character as "the fiercest, strongest, most kick-ass warrior that ever walked the earth!"
The Rock has many movies to come, he is currently filming a movie with co-star Sean William Scott! He future looks very bright in the world of Hollywood as well in many other ways! This guy just keeps getting better and better! There is no stopping him! All I have to say is "Do you smell what The Rock...Is Cookin?!"
